* This training counts as 12 hours of APT Approved Training (3 hours of History, 4 hours of Seminal Theories, & 5 hours of Skills/Methods)
This two-day training is for participants who have never received any training in sand tray therapy and are looking to implement this fun strategy with clients of all ages. Participants will leave this workshop with a solid foundation of how to implement sand tray in individual, family, and group play therapy sessions. Extensive time will be spent on experiential learning, through the use of constructing and processing sand trays.
*All participants will receive a portable sand tray with sand and a small sand tray miniature collection.*

Day 1 will be a virtual training taking place August 7th, 2020 or September 10th, 2020, and August participants will choose 1 of 3 experiential lab days: 8/10, 8/21, or 8/28, and September participants will choose 1 of 2 experiential lab days: 9/11 or 9/14. Experiential Lab Days will be on campus at STLPTI and social distance recommendations will be upheld.
Please note: *Attendees are reminded that registration for a training must be cancelled within 48 hours of payment in order to receive a FULL refund* To request a change to a training, please email us at stlplaytherapy@gmail.com. Cancellations that are made seven days before the training date will given the option for either a refund less a $25 administration fee or a credit towards a future training. The refund amount will be for the amount paid for the training less a $25 administration fee. All refunds will be mailed 60 days after request. For persons requesting a credit, they will receive an individualized code for the amount to be used for a future training.
