From Blocks to Bingo: Play Therapy Across the Lifespan

Phase 1: 12 CEs - CORE Curriculum Course
* This training counts as 12 hours of APT Approved Training (1 hour of History, 2 hours of Seminal Theories, 6 hours of Skills/Methods, & 3 hours of Special Topics)
Trainer: April Duncan, MSW, LCSW, Registered Play Therapist

We know how easy it is to play with children, but how about when they get older? Engaging teens and adults into play therapy can be challenging but is not impossible. This two-day training will teach participants how to apply play therapy to young children, teens & adolescents, families, and adults. Participants will learn how to engage these different populations in play therapy and practice various play-based interventions to use in individual, family, and group sessions. Specific information on how to address gender and sexual orientation will also be reviewed.
