Ready! Set! Play! An Introduction to Play Therapy
Phase I: 6 CEs – CORE Curriculum Course
* This training counts as 6 hours of APT Approved Training (3 hours of History, 2 hours of Seminal Theories, & 1 hour of Skills/Methods)

If you’re unsure what the term “play therapy” really means, then this is the course for you! This one day workshop gives participants a core understanding of play therapy and how it can be applied in various settings and populations. Attendees will explore the history of play therapy and the core components of being a culturally competent play therapist. Time will be spent practicing interventions aimed at accelerating the cognitive and social-emotional growth of children and adolescents.

Please note: *Attendees are reminded that registration for a training must be cancelled within 48 hours of payment in order to receive a FULL refund* To request a change to a training, please email us at stlplaytherapy@gmail.com. Cancellations that are made seven days before the training date will given the option for either a refund less a $25 administration fee or a credit towards a future training. The refund amount will be for the amount paid for the training less a $25 administration fee. All refunds will be mailed 60 days after request. For persons requesting a credit, they will receive an individualized code for the amount to be used for a future training.
Trainings will be held at: 1123 Locust St, St. Louis, MO 63101. All full day trainings run from 9 AM to 4:00 PM, with a lunch break between 12-1pm. Please note that while many trainings are on Thursdays and Fridays, in an effort to accommodate requests, some trainings fall on different days of the week.
