The word “trauma” is a word that can be used to describe a variety of situations a person has experienced that they have difficulty coping with on a daily basis. This two-day training will provide attendees with an overview of the different types of trauma, how grief and trauma affects clients of all ages and the impact of trauma on the brain. Effective techniques to safely and respectfully support clients through the trauma narrative and healing process will also be explored. Participants will:
Trainings will be held at: 1123 Locust St, St. Louis, MO 63101. All full day trainings run from 9 AM to 4:00 PM, with a lunch break between 12-1pm. Please note that while many trainings are on Thursdays and Fridays, in an effort to accommodate requests, some trainings fall on different days of the week.
