A core ethical component is for clinicians to utilize cultural competence when working with clients. But what exactly does that mean? This training will identify the important characteristics of minority populations and ways to engage in them play therapy. Interventions include play therapy games and activities for LGBTQ clients and ways to empower young girls through play. Participants will:
Trainings will be held at: 1123 Locust St, St. Louis, MO 63101. All full day trainings run from 9 AM to 4:00 PM, with a lunch break between 12-1pm. Please note that while many trainings are on Thursdays and Fridays, in an effort to accommodate requests, some trainings fall on different days of the week.
