Attachment is the foundation of who we are and the way we form relationships with others. A lack of healthy attachments early in life can affect a person into adulthood if not addressed. This two-day training will provide participants with an overview on attachment theory, definitions of different attachment styles, and evidence-based techniques to support clients in the playroom. Several models will be reviewed, including: Theraplay, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, Child Parent Relationship Therapy, and Parent-Child interaction Therapy. Participants will:
Trainings will be held at: 1123 Locust St, St. Louis, MO 63101. All full day trainings run from 9 AM to 4:00 PM, with a lunch break between 12-1pm. Please note that while many trainings are on Thursdays and Fridays, in an effort to accommodate requests, some trainings fall on different days of the week.
